Wow, it’s been a busy week for our staff for the first of February!

Rebecca visited onsite a new prospective client who may need assistance staffing for a temp-to-hire Receptionist position.

Elyse met with an IT professional whose outplacement she is conducting on behalf of a client company.  She’s also designing a custom skill review using Outlook for a customer who needs to test all of its office employees.

Dawn recorded the criminal background checks we ran for a client hiring new employees using our microstaffing solutions to assist with one piece of the process.

Craig successfully finished a search for a CNC machinist with expertise in Fanuc controls, Daewoo and Haas machines, and G code.

And that’s just the highlights from one day!

Several people have commented on the fun introduction Elyse gave for our raffle prize at a recent Women’s Business Council luncheon.  The process for the WBC is that any company sponsoring a prize gives a brief presentation about their business, by way of introducing their gift for the monthly event.

“I’m Elyse with Frank’s Employment.  And I’d like to talk about our business by talking about the basket I’ve brought as a raffle prize today.

Delnor Community Hospital recently organized a coalition to initiate policy changes toward promoting healthy eating and active living in Kane County.

One subgroup of the coalition, the Workplace Wellness Committee, focuses on supporting and encouraging businesses and organizations to encourage healthy living in and through the workplace.  The committee is currently requesting that local businesses (in Kane County) of various sizes participate in a survey to assist them in assessing what wellness programs are already in place and what additional resources might be useful.
